The “Nintendo Experience Zone” has been present at the Argos store on Tottenham Court Road since the start of the year and offers consoles, games and merchandise for Nintendo games such as Zelda, Mario and Animal Crossing.
When it was announced, the Argos pop-up was considered temporary. It follows last year’s Nintendo London pop-up store, which opened in the Westfield shopping center for about a month last October, selling products previously only available at Nintendo’s permanent stores in Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, San Francisco and New York.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is set to release on November 5 for Nintendo Switch 2. A 40th Anniversary Limited Edition Switch 2 console and Pro Controller were released ahead of the game last week.
In our recent remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, we wrote: “As my time with the Ocarina of Time remake demo came to an end, I found myself falling in love with the game all over again.
“It only lasted a few hours, but the quality of life improvements, the huge visual overhaul, the fantastic musical arrangements, the new content that took me by surprise (however minor it was), and the overall feel was enough to pull a perfectly gyroscopic Hookshot straight into my heart again.”
