NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50-Series expected to increase prices this week, up to $500

NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 50-Series “Blackwell” gaming graphics cards are expected to see significant price adjustments this week. According to China’s ChannelGate, add-on card (AIC) partners have confirmed that price increases are planned due to continued demand for these GPUs exceeding supply. Some major AIC partners, like Colorful and Galax, have reportedly already started sharing information about these price increases. The most significant example is expected to be SKUs based on NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 5090 DV2, which will see an increase of up to 3,300 RMB, or almost $500. Even entry-level GPUs aren’t exempt, as the GeForce RTX 5060 is expected to see a price increase of around $30 over existing models. These changes are expected to be implemented this week for retail partners, meaning it could take a week or two for consumer prices to reflect the new posted prices.

Below is the list of price hikes in China, which are expected to become the norm everywhere.

  • RTX 5090 DV2: 2,200-3,300 RMB ($329-494);
  • RTX 5080: 2,500-2,800 RMB ($374-419);
  • RTX 5070 Ti: 1,000 RMB ($150);
  • RTX 5070: 600-900 RMB ($90-135);
  • RTX 5060 Ti 16GB: RMB 250-400 ($37-60);
  • RTX 5060 Ti 8GB: 100-150 RMB ($15-22);
  • RTX 5060: 150-200 RMB ($22-30).

Other NVIDIA series, as well as AMD and Intel GPUs, are not affected by this immediate price increase. However, AMD’s Radeon graphics cards are expected to see another price increase this month. The main factors driving this price increase are the lack of memory supply and the significant increase in the cost of raw materials used in production, such as copper.
