AC Milan learned that individual errors can be very costly, losing 3-0 to Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium this evening. As a result, not a single player earned an assist in our ratings.
Individual actions can decide a game, both positively and negatively. Unfortunately, it was the latter for the Rossoneri this evening who shot themselves in the foot with two penalties awarded and a red card received.

Short version
🥇 Unfortunately, there was no MOTM in this game.
👎 Maignan (2.5): What can I say? Putting BOTH hands towards the opponent and then pushing them is incredibly stupid. I completely understand the red card, but I also understand those who say that there was not too much violent behavior. Either way, he put his team in a difficult situation and for what reason, really?
👔 Love (5): I get it, we can question the team selection, but we could play incredibly well and still lose with these mistakes (the penalties given and the red card). That said, knowing that it would be a difficult away match, the selection could certainly have been more balanced.
Starting XI
Maignan (2.5): What can I say? Putting BOTH hands towards the opponent and then pushing them is incredibly stupid. I completely understand the red card, but I also understand those who say that there was not too much violent behavior. Either way, he put his team in a difficult situation and for what reason, really?

Tomori (5.5): Maybe I’m missing something, but I don’t think he was terrible for most of the game, although a mistake in the second half led to a careless tackle and a yellow card. He was replaced almost immediately afterwards.
Winter (4): You should never go for the ball inside the box with your arm outstretched like that. So you’re just looking for trouble. For what it’s worth, he had plenty of clearances in the second half, stopping a few dangerous crosses.
Pavlović (4.5): This may seem harsh if you haven’t seen the response behind the goal, but take a look at Bournemouth’s third goal. He jumps away from Milan’s wall, leaving a space between him and De Winter, which is exactly the space Adli exploited.
Estupinan (4.5): A good block at the start of the game, then almost a disaster. He was carded after losing a foot battle and was as usual in possession, as well as in 1v1s. I have a hard time understanding why Amorim wants to play him.
Moreira (5.5): There was a good run at the start of the second half and then a nice cross from a free kick, but he didn’t add much other than that. I actually thought his touch was pretty poor, causing him to lose the ball, and the 1v1 work on the right was less than great.
Jashari (5): I think we haven’t seen the things we signed him for yet in a full game. Maybe I’m being very harsh here, but he wasn’t very convincing with the ball tonight and didn’t impose himself physically. He ran a lot, which was good, but we need him for a lot more than that.
Moussa (5): He was too sloppy with the ball, especially in the first half, and failed to make a difference. His touch could have cost him a few times, although I think he probably improved slightly in the second half.
Plays Loftus (4.5): Did he play? This seems like a question we’ve asked ourselves too often about English. The fact that he plays primarily as a left midfielder/left winger probably didn’t help, but it was still poor.

Hutchinson (N/A): He tried several times to advance with the ball, but was unsuccessful. He was sent off after the red card, meaning he only got 30 minutes (even less if you count from when the red card was actually shown). I can’t give it a rating.
Cisse (5.5): It was a tough game for him, but I think when he got the ball he looked at least a little encouraging. I also don’t think his attacking movement was terrible, it was more that Milan barely played the ball to him.
Substitutes
Torriani (5.5): With two goals conceded, even if they were very well taken, and sometimes questionable footwork, I can’t pass him. Very close to reaching a 6 thanks to his late save on Raya, but yes.
Bartesaghi (5.5): He delivered a good cross into the box and looked decent for most of his appearance, but he misjudged a cross and was easily beaten by Raya, almost giving away a goal as a result.
Rabiot (5.5): As much as I like the French midfielder, I don’t think he really brought anything of value to the game.
Diawara (N/A): I haven’t seen enough of it to give it a rating.
Comotto (N/A): I haven’t seen enough of it to give it a rating.
The manager
Love (5): I get it, we can question the team selection, but we could play incredibly well and still lose with these mistakes (the penalties given and the red card). That said, knowing that it would be a difficult away match, the selection could certainly have been more balanced.
