The online newspaper publishes screenshots of anti-Semitic messages that Jordan Bardella allegedly sent to another person on the Messenger platform in 2013. The RN president’s interlocutor asked Meta for a download of this Messenger conversation, the extraction of which was authenticated by a bailiff, again according to Mediapart. According to the newspaper, biographical elements revealed in the conversations by the user of the account clearly prove that it was the real Jordan Bardella: mother born in Italy, mention of an interview he had given to Le Parisien in 2013, or failure in the Sciences Po competition.
And now, the campaign turned upside down?
“Extracting the conversation makes it possible to date it, to attest to the fact that this conversation has not been modified subsequently, and to confirm that the speaker of the conversation is referenced by Meta/Facebook under the name Jordan Bardella. The analysis of its content makes it possible to verify that it is indeed the real Jordan Bardella,” assures Mediapart. The online newspaper published anti-Semitic messages dating from 2013 on Monday which it attributes to Jordan Bardella, then a young party activist. Enough to shake up the presidential campaign of the National Rally since its president was predestined to the role of Prime Minister in the event of the victory of the favorite in the polls, Marine Le Pen.
“The banks are all owned by Jews”; “The Jew must dominate (sic) other peoples, crush them and steal from them, a Zionist is necessarily Jewish, and deeply,” Jordan Bardella reportedly wrote, who “formally” denies being the author of these messages. “For Soral I say that his analyzes are correct because everything is verified in the facts”, he would also have written, denouncing a “submission of France to Zionist logic”.
The Mediapart investigation released on Monday develops a “fascination” on his part for Alain Soral, the anti-Semitic ideologue and Holocaust denier who severed his ties with the FN in 2009. In a long message published on “I cannot stand this affront (…) I will never tolerate orchestrated campaigns whose sole objective is the political execution of a man,” said the president of the RN, denouncing “unfair, unjust and deceptive treatment”.
