The US team has some work to do.
The International team swept Friday’s foursome sessions, again, to take a commanding 7-3 lead at the midway point of the Presidents Cup at Medinah Country Club in Chicago. It matched their largest lead over the Americans after two sessions since 1998, which was the only other year that they were able to upset the United States and actually claim the cup.

Fortunately for the Americans, they have plenty of time to bounce back.
Saturday will feature two sessions, with four-ball matches taking place in the morning and foursome matches taking place in the afternoon.
Then on Sunday, all 24 golfers will square off in singles matches. The first team to 15.5 points wins, though the International team only needs 8.5 points with three sessions to go.
