Princess Kate and Prince William finally decided to get into the spooky spirit of the season.
The Princess and Prince of Wales, both 44, posted their first ever Halloween-themed post on Saturday, October 31, sharing a photo of their son, Prince Louis. The photo, taken by Kate, shows Louis, now 8, at 1 year old, smiling in front of a pumpkin on the ground.
“Happy Halloween! 🎃,” the royal couple captioned the adorable Instagram post on Halloween, October 31.
Although the couple has never posted about Halloween before, they have celebrated the haunting holiday in years past with Louis and their other children, Prince George, 13, and daughter Princess Charlotte, 11.
In 2022, Kate and the kids were spotted collecting candy on Halloween in a photo taken by London resident Jay Rutland, according to Hello! review.
“For anyone who doubts William and Kate’s down-to-earth nature,” Rutland wrote. “Here’s Kate and their kids knocking on our door in London for a Halloween party.”

In 2019, local Kathy Whittaker said she saw the princess, and then Kate Middleton, at a local Norfolk supermarket with George and Charlotte while they were choosing costumes for Halloween, People magazine reported.
Louis, who turned 8 in April, is fourth in line to the British throne, preceded by Charlotte, George and their father William.

The couple celebrated Louis’ 8th birthday on April 23 with the royal tradition of taking a new portrait, taken by royal photographer Matt Porteous.
The account also posted a video montage of the young prince on the beach, playing cricket and jumping into the sea, likely during a trip to Holkham Beach in Norfolk, England, near their home at Anmer Hall and a venue frequented by the royal family.
“Thank you for all the birthday wishes for Prince Louis. 8th is awesome!” members of the British royal family captioned the reel.
