Rams vs. Chargers: Week 8 Spikes and Misses Win

November 1, 2026, 4:58 p.m. PT

It wasn’t pretty, but the Los Angeles Rams came away with a 24-9 victory over the Chargers on Sunday. They were outplayed by the Chargers and possessed by them as well, but the Rams got the ball back twice and figured things out on offense in the second half before it was too late.

Now 4-4 this year, the Rams are back to .500 after starting 2-4.

There were some standout performers in the win, led by Trent McDuffie and Blake Corum.

Stallion: Trent McDuffie

McDuffie returned after a two-game absence, and he didn’t miss a beat. He continued to play at an incredibly high level, leading the team with nine tackles, including one for loss. He also picked off Justin Herbert, returning it 26 yards to set up a touchdown for the Rams two plays later. McDuffie left in the third quarter but was excellent before going out.
