Starting today, you can receive Spewpa as a mystery gift in Pokémon Legends: ZA to celebrate the release of Pokémon Legends: ZA – Nintendo Switch 2 + Mega Dimension Edition. Spewpa is known to evolve into Vivillon with a variety of different patterns depending on the climate and topography of the environment it was born in, but this Spewpa can evolve into any of 16 different patterns at random.
Try to see which model your Spewpa will adopt after evolving into Vivillon: it will be available via Mystery Gift until Wednesday, November 18, 2026, at 5:59 p.m. PST. You can add him to your team now by following these steps:
- Open the main menu and select Reading by link.
- Select Mystery gift.
- Select Obtain via Internet to connect to the Internet.
- Make sure to save your game.
Please note the following:
- You will need to connect your Nintendo Switch console to the internet to claim mystery gifts.
- You can only receive this Spewpa once per save data. It can no longer be received.
- Your console’s user profile will need to be linked to a Nintendo Account in order to connect to the Internet. (This does not require a paid Nintendo Switch Online subscription.)
- It takes about an hour of gameplay before you can access the Mystery Gift feature.
- This mystery gift can be received in digital or physical versions of either Pokémon Legends: ZA Or Pokémon Legends: ZA – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition.
Spread your wings for the Vivillon Challenge!
As trainers around the world transform Spewpa into Vivillon, Vivillon Points are counted in the official Vivillon Challenge! website. If the goal of 660,000 points is reached, players will be able to receive a rare Poké Ball Pattern Vivillon to celebrate. There is no end date for this challenge, and Vivillon Points will also be earned by evolving Spewpa captured in the wild or obtained through side missions, so keep evolving!
If the Vivillon Points goal is reached, the timing of the Vivillon Poké Ball Pattern distribution will be announced separately. Want to take your Vivillon into battle? Bring them to Pokémon Champions for memorable battles and great rewards. Learn more here.
