Another top-10 pick in the 2024 draft is about to be on the move.
According to the ESPNFL, the Cardinals I will trade Wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. Harrison, according to the report, will be inactive for Sunday’s game against the Lions as details are finalized.
The current talk in league circles is that Harrison will land in Houston, where he would reunite with former Ohio State quarterback CJ Stroud.
The Cardinals, we’re told, were looking for a package that included a second-round pick. It remains to be seen whether they will succeed.
And it’s highly unusual for news of a trade to emerge without a destination. This could be a last-minute attempt to bring other teams to the table, in hopes of driving up prices.
When the trade happens, Harrison will join former Vikings quarterback JJ McCarthy, tenth overall in 2024, as players were traded fairly quickly by the teams that took them.
Harrison has become largely forgotten in Arizona’s offense under new coach Mike LaFleur. In four games this season, he has five catches for 85 yards and a touchdown.
