The Patriots are reportedly without running back TreVeyon Henderson for the near future.
Henderson left New England’s win over the Raiders with an ankle injury and ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports he has been diagnosed like a sprained ankle. Henderson does not need surgery to treat his injury, but he is expected to miss several weeks while recovering.
Henderson had four carries for 22 yards and one catch for 16 yards before his injury Sunday. He has 42 carries for 163 yards and a touchdown in four appearances this season.
The Patriots are also expected to be without left tackle Will Campbell due to a knee injury. So there will be some reshuffling to do in a few areas before Sunday’s game against the Jets.
