Sean “Diddy” Combs was taken from federal prison to the hospital Saturday after suffering a head injury.
The 56-year-old tycoon, who is currently serving a 50-month sentence at Fort Dix in New Jersey, was apparently rushed to the hospital early Saturday morning with a “non-life-threatening injury,” the Los Angeles Times reports. He was conscious and talking before his hospitalization, and returned to the jail later that day, according to TMZ. The cause of the injury is currently unknown.
“We are aware of the information regarding Sean Combs and are working to confirm the circumstances,” Combs’ rep said in a statement to Variety. “Sean’s health and well-being are our immediate concern, and we appreciate everyone who has contacted us. »
Combs was recently in the news for his supposed VIP treatment at Fort Dix. An NBC News report published in late September claimed that Combs had access to contraband cell phones to “scroll through Instagram and scan nude and sexually explicit photos sent to him by an old girlfriend.” On weekends, he has access to alcohol smuggled in by the guards. Following the report’s release, Combs was disciplined by prison guards for “disruptive conduct” and had 41 days of good behavior taken away, delaying his release from January to March 2028.
The musician is currently serving a four-year prison sentence after being convicted of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution in October 2025. His legal troubles have continued while he is incarcerated. Last week, he was ordered to pay NBCUniversal $477,700 in legal fees after losing a $100 million defamation lawsuit stemming from the documentary “Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy.”
