Taylor Swift arrived at the Met Gala of the West.
The 14-time Grammy winner hit the red carpet at the Academy Museum’s 2026 Gala on Saturday, wearing a shimmering icy blue Dior ballgown that channeled “Cinderella.”
Swift’s choice of designer is of course fitting since she wore a Christian Dior Haute Couture wedding dress by Jonathan Anderson to marry Travis Kelce earlier this year. Although photos of the design haven’t been released yet, this romantic look could easily double as “something blue.”
The look featured a subtle sweetheart neckline, flared hips and a beaded bow at the front.
She wore her newly shorn hair curled and pulled back in a half-up style, skipping a necklace in favor of diamond chandelier earrings.
Swift is expected to perform at tonight’s event, which celebrates filmmaker and composer John Carpenter, two-time Academy Award nominee Colman Domingo, and Academy Award winner Charlize Theron.
“Taylor is an extraordinary talent whose work resonates around the world,” Amy Homma, director and president of the Academy Museum and Academy Collection, said in a statement earlier this month.
“We are delighted to welcome him to this year’s gala and look forward to his performance to cap a wonderful evening honoring three extraordinary filmmakers and supporting the Academy Museum’s mission to celebrate and preserve cinema.”
Proceeds from the Academy Museum Gala, now in its sixth year, support the institution’s exhibitions, educational opportunities, public screenings and much more.
Rolex is the founding sponsor of the Academy Museum and the annual gala is co-chaired by Tom Ford, Robert Rodriguez, Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw.
This year’s host committee includes Jessica Alba, Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann, Kirsten Dunst, Kate Hudson, Jessica Lange, Greta Lee, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, Rami Malek, Demi Moore, Olivia Munn, Teyana Taylor and other big names.
Swift’s husband, however, did not join her on the red carpet as the Kansas City Chiefs tight end is scheduled to face the Los Angeles Chargers tomorrow at Arrowhead Stadium. And it is likely that she will join her prince charming in Missouri after midnight.
