The rabbi said that in a time of such danger, only students of the Torah could protect Israel spiritually. “Salvation comes only through Torah learning, orderly Torah learning. And any neglect or disruption of Torah learning, woe and alas for what is to come… The more Torah learners, the more Torah learners increase their learning, the better. They protect us.”
