That said, the 38-year-old, who shares sons Anaça10, and Ariel8 years, with Nicoli, has been open about her own priorities – and they’re not that different from those of the legendary athlete.
“Life is a constant search for balance, at least for me, and yes, I feel overwhelmed sometimes,” Swanepoel told V Magazine in 2023, “but I am very attentive to the needs of my children, then to my personal needs, which are also important”.
“Sometimes it’s easy to forget,” she added. “I realized that to be a better mother, I know that I also need to take care of myself, whether it is my (physical) or mental health or my ability to excel in my career and business because it brings me joy and so my children have started to understand that too.”
