Tom Welling takes his revealing mistake on Instagram in stride.
The “Smallville” alum left a comment on an Instagram Reel mocking him accidentally exposing himself in the reflection of his New York hotel room window, which he posted – then deleted – on Instagram on Saturday.
In the reel, a man takes a photo in New York, before squinting and then acting shocked by what he sees.
“POV, you are a tourist in New York and see Tom Welling standing at his hotel window on October 10th,” the text on the reel reads.
Welling, 49, commented: “I came for sightseeing. »
He also reposted his “Smallville” co-star Michael Rosenbaum’s Instagram story to make fun of him. In Rosenbaum’s Instagram story, he jokingly takes a photo of the New York skyscrapers with his reflection showing his pants.
Rosenbaum cracked: “Just taking care of my boy @tomwelling.”
Welling shook up her fans over the weekend after posting a photo of the view from her hotel room on her Instagram Stories with the caption, “Hello, NYCC,” referencing New York Comic Con.
But fans quickly noticed that the reflection in his window caught him completely without clothes.
The photo reportedly remained visible for at least 10 hours before the “Cheaper by the Dozen” star deleted it, but screenshots of the image quickly spread across social media.
Welling didn’t make headlines on Sunday when he shared a new photo of himself speaking at Comic Con on Instagram, writing, “Hope to see you all today at @newyorkcomiccon. Come say hello! #25yearsofsmallville.”
But many fans left comments on the racy photo.
“Just be careful with your camera earpiece 😂,” one fan joked.
Another fan gushed: “I mean he’s a great man, of course he’s going to be great. 🫡 he couldn’t wear tights to show it.”
“Smallville” premiered on the WB in 2001 and ran for 10 seasons before ending on the CW in May 2011.
On Sunday, Welling (Clark Kent), Rosenbaum (Lex Luthor), Kristin Kreuk (Lana Lang) and Erica Durance (Lois Lane) gathered for a panel celebrating the show’s 25th anniversary.
