A transgender Canadian school bus driver was fired after wearing a skimpy schoolgirl outfit and nicknamed her route the “Lolita Line” – and is now suing for dismissal.
The driver – identified only as LZ in court documents – was kicked out of his job with Ontario’s York District Catholic School Board in 2025 after outraged parents reported the situation, the National Post reported.
Stunning images appear to capture LZ in full outfit at the bus door – wearing a short pink skirt, frilly white top and knee-length stockings.
“I do this every day and I don’t think there’s a problem,” LZ said in a video while confronting her parents. “What’s the matter?” »
LZ also allegedly placed a sign reading “Lolita Line” in the bus window, apparently referencing Vladimir Nabokov’s infamous 1955 novel, about a middle-aged man sexually obsessed with a 12-year-old girl.
The name also strangely echoed the widely used nickname of pedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s private jet, the “Lolita Express.”
LZ was kicked out of his job — but the ex-driver turned around and sued the school district and bus company, alleging “employment discrimination based on race, gender identity and sex” because they are “a transgender woman.”
LZ then pushed to have his name blocked from the lawsuit citing security threats — a request that only brought the case to light after it was approved, as the case only became public because the block was granted, the National Post reported.
The move left the National Post columnist who uncovered the affair wondering if LZ was serious — or if he was just pulling the public’s leg.
“It’s unclear whether this individual is mentally ill, whether he’s simply performing an operation to take advantage of an overzealous and irresponsible human rights system, or whether it’s simply something else,” columnist Jamie Sarkonak wrote.
“No rational adult would show up to a job near children, wearing a skimpy suit and referencing a novel about the sexual abuse of a child by a middle-aged man… and then reignite controversy by engaging in legal action,” she added.
It wouldn’t be the first time the behavior of a transgender school worker in Ontario has left people wondering if they were victims of abuse.
In 2022, Canadian teacher Kayla Lemieux made headlines for months after the biological male was exposed for wearing huge prosthetic breasts in a cartoonish way under tight clothes in class – and continued to do so for months despite parents’ fury.
Lemieux’s outfits were so scandalous that some wondered if the whole thing wasn’t some sort of long-standing hoax.
But the school rallied behind Lemieux — at least for a while — with the school principal announcing at one point that he had implemented new security measures at the school because of the attention, while Lemieux even received a police escort to the school.
“It’s disingenuous,” one parent told the Post after Lemieux finally ditched the outfit. “And it’s clear now that this was an attempt to attract attention at the expense of children’s safety.”
