Travis Kelce celebrated his birthday with Taylor Swift, and a football victory set the perfect mood for the occasion.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, who turned 37 on Oct. 5, shared details of his celebration during the Oct. 7 episode of “New Heights,” the podcast he co-hosts with his brother Jason Kelce.
“The best news I got on my birthday was that we got a win,” Travis Kelce said. “This is the happiness I had around my birthday. I got the victory before the (week) and we are 4 and 0.”
The Chiefs beat the Las Vegas Raiders the day before his birthday, giving him another reason to celebrate.
When Jason Kelce asked if a loss would have ruined his big day, Travis Kelce couldn’t help but admit that it would.
“Losing ruins everyone’s life. Yes,” Travis Kelce said. “It’s the… worst thing that could happen. So if I had lost, it would have definitely ruined my birthday.”

He also admitted that birthdays aren’t usually a major occasion for him, so he didn’t even mark the occasion with a birthday cake.
Travis Kelce Shares Birthday Dinner Details With Taylor Swift
Travis Kelce said he received lots of birthday messages and celebrated his move to the big 3-7 with a meal at Torrisi, one of his favorite restaurants in New York. He also said he “had to hang out with Tay,” referring to his pop star wife.
There was no birthday cake, but dessert was still part of the party.

“But Torrisi has good desserts,” he says. “They brought out the whole arsenal. They had good yogurt. They had espresso chip frosting with ice cream and chocolate underneath. It was weird. It was nice though.”
However, he kept certain details to himself. When asked by Jason Kelce if he wanted to tease one of the gifts he received, Travis Kelce declined and steered the conversation elsewhere.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce got married in July
The celebration marked Travis Kelce’s first anniversary since he and Swift tied the knot on July 3 at Madison Square Garden. Actor-comedian Adam Sandler officiated, with Jason Kelce as best man and Swift’s brother, Austin, as best man.
Their relationship followed Travis Kelce’s failed attempt to give Swift a friendship braceletwith his phone number during his Eras tour in 2023. In September of that year, she cheered him on at a Chiefs game.
Travis Kelce then reflected on their marriage while speaking to reporters at training camp on August 12.
“The wedding was the best night of my life,” he said. “I appreciate everyone who came out to celebrate and had fun with us.”
