Trisha Yearwood, 62, shows off slim figure in rare red carpet appearance

Trisha Yearwood, 62, showed off her slim figure in a stunning pantsuit as she attended a benefit in New York on Monday.

The country music icon beamed as she walked the orange carpet at the Best Friends Animal Society Save Them All benefit, hosted by “The View” star Sara Haines.

She styled her hair in a chic shoulder-length bob, a change from her usual long blonde locks.

“Celebrating our four-legged friends at the Best Friends Gala! Thanks for having us and for all the work you do @bestfriendsanimalsociety 🐾,” Yearwood wrote in the caption.

Yearwood, who is married to “Friends in Low Places” hitmaker Garth Brooks, has been open about her health and fitness routine in the past.

In 2013, she shared that she had tried many diets throughout her life, while talking about her 30-pound weight loss.

“I don’t think you can name a single diet that I haven’t followed. I’m that girl who buys every magazine that someone has lost 30 pounds in,” Yearwood told People at the time.

She shared that she was able to lose 30 pounds in four months by following a “low-fat, low-sugar” diet “90 percent” of the time.

The former Food Network star also took Zumba classes at least three times a week.

“I think I’m like all women who struggle with their weight. I have ups and downs, and sometimes I’m ‘in the zone’ and sometimes I’m ‘off the wagon’!” she said in a 2015 interview with Parade Magazine.

Yearwood detailed her “80/20” rule, meaning she eats healthily 80 percent of the time and indulges in her cravings the other 20 percent.

ā€œSometimes life gets in the way and you have to forgive yourself for gaining a few pounds,ā€ Yearwood said.
