Dancing into a new chapter.
Tyler Cameron and his fiancée, Tate Madden, revealed that they are expecting their first child, a baby girl, during Tuesday night’s episode of “Dancing With the Stars.”
The couple revealed the news during a contemporary routine to Ed Sheeran’s “Supermarket Flowers” with Cameron’s dance partner Sharna Burgess.
The performance was accompanied by voiceover narration from Cameron, which ran throughout the routine.
“Hey, Mom, there are so many things I wish I could tell you,” he began.
“You would have loved the woman I’m going to marry. All the things that made you special, I found in her,” Cameron continued as Madden joined him on the dance floor. “She’s going to be the most amazing mom, just like you, and we’re going to have a baby.”
He concluded: “I can’t believe I’m going to be a dad. I wish you were here. I hope I make you proud. I love you and miss you, every day.”
Co-host Alfonso Ribeiro then helped the couple reveal the sex of their baby live in the ballroom, amid a shower of pink confetti to announce that they were having a girl.
“I get to be a girl dad, what a gift,” Cameron said of the news.
During the judges’ critique, Bruno Tonioli praised the reality star and Madden for “dancing with three hearts beating as one.”
The routine earned Cameron and Burgess a score of 32/40.
The dance, rightly so, was dedicated to all mothers around the world.
It is also a tribute to Cameron’s late mother, Andrea, who died in 2020 at the age of 55 following a brain aneurysm.
Cameron and Madden began dating in 2024. In April of that year, the reality star exclusively told Page Six that he was no longer on the market, although he did not reveal the identity of his girlfriend.
The former “Bachelorette” star — who competed on Hannah Brown’s 2019 season — went Instagram official with Madden six months later.
“I found a pretty girl to dance with…and then she tried to knock me out….” he captioned a sweet Instagram video, where they danced together.
In February 2025, the couple revealed their engagement plans in an exclusive interview with Page Six during the 2025 Super Bowl.
“I would say, ‘Wow, that’s a crazy decision, but yeah,'” Madden told us when asked if she would say yes to a post-Super Bowl win offer. “It would be a bit random, but I would still say yes.”
Cameron finally popped the question in August.
“Better late than never,” they say, the couple captioned their joint Instagram post with romantic snaps of the beachside proposal.
Before his relationship with Madden, Cameron had a brief fling with Gigi Hadid.
He later entered into a relationship with model Camila Kendra, but they split after eight months of dating in August 2021.
He continued with Paige Lorenze before returning to his hometown of Jupiter, Florida and beginning his relationship with Madden.
New episodes of “DWTS” air Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+, and stream on Hulu the next day.
