Vikings-Bills second injury report | Daily Norwegian

The Minnesota Vikings and Buffalo Bills have released their second injury reports ahead of their Monday Night Football game at US Bank Stadium. Here they are:

Injury Reporting Terms and Glossary

Definitions of injury designations:

Probable = The league defines a probable injury designation as a playing chance of 75% or greater. Historically, 95% of players designated as probable are active and playing on game day.

Questionable = The league defines a questionable injury designation as being “uncertain” as to whether or not the player will play. This replaces the old definition of having a 50% chance of playing. Historically, 70-75% of players with a questionable injury designation were active and playing on game day.

Questionable = The league defines a questionable injury designation to mean that the player is unlikely to participate in the game. Concretely, teams use this designation when a player has less than a 50% chance of dressing, and active in-game appearances under this designation remain rare. Historically, only about 6% of players with the Questionable designation are active and playing on game day.

Out = will not play. Players with this designation are not active on game day and league rules prohibit them from playing.

For the Vikings, Christian Darrisaw and Isaiah Rodgers were upgraded to full participants during Friday’s practice, which bodes well for their availability Monday night. However, it is increasingly looking like Theo Jackson, Demond Claiborne and now Jauan Jennings may have injury designations and may or may not be available for Monday’s game.

For the Bills, they have two starters on their offensive line who are not practicing for a second straight day: left tackle Dion Dawkins and guard Alec Anderson. Those would be significant losses if they weren’t available Monday night. There are a few other starters who also remain limited in practice, including right tackle Spencer Brown, who could play but also be less than 100% Monday night. Substitute Joshua Palmer also looked increasingly unavailable on Monday evening, after missing his second day of training.

We’ll see how this plays out tomorrow with injury updates and designations.
