“Saturday Night Live’s” Halloween takeover begins now.
Between Taylor Swift’s surprise appearance and Shane Gillis’ controversial monologue, “SNL” Season 52 was star-studded. Tonight’s show will be no different.
Taking over is rising star India Navarrette, who scared audiences in Curry Barker’s supernatural horror film “Obsession” last May.
After a stellar year, complete with a hosting spot for “SNL,” Navarrette is set to make his return to the big screen in the upcoming “X-Men” film, “Invertigo” and “The Waffle House Index.”
“I literally feel like I snuck out. I’m super excited to keep everything a secret because I really, really want to make this super fun for the audience,” Navarrette told Variety ahead of the Oct. 31 show. “And what I like is when I don’t know anything. So I’m really excited to work with the writers.”
Joining Navarrette on the Studio 8H stage is Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams.
Abrams is preparing to embark on a world tour in December, following the release of her third studio album “Daughter from Hell.” The “Risk” singer last performed on “SNL” in December 2024.
Here’s everything you need to know ahead of tonight’s show, including how to tune in.
Who’s on “SNL” tonight?
Indie darlings Inde Navarrette and Gracie Abrams team up to deliver a spooky spectacle on New Year’s Eve.
According to NBC Insider, comedian John Mulaney and The Strokes were the last duo to take the stage on Halloween night. It was 2020. The late Catherine O’Hara, Dabney Coleman and Donald Pleasence also had the honor of hosting “SNL” on Halloween.
