Wildlife influencer about to lose wrestling match to 19ft reticulated python

A wildlife influencer who goes by the name The Real Tarzann on social media compared his blue belt jiu-jitsu skills to a 19-foot reticulated python. Clever.

He realizes he’s about to get into trouble when the snake wraps one of his arms and both legs at the same time.

The real Tarzann, whose real name is Mike Holston, tells his cameraman as he struggles with the snake: “I’m fine. For now. But I won’t be in a second.”

After the python hits him several times, he grabs his head and begins his “toughest battle with a snake yet.”

That’s because this gigantic snake doesn’t want to go down without a fight. He immediately begins trying to wrap his body around the influencer.

Once he has Holston’s arm and both legs wrapped around him, he seems to start to tighten his grip on him. He admits, “I’m losing this battle, guys. For the first time, I’m meeting one I can’t beat.”

Despite this admission, he is not ready to give up. When asked if he needs help, he replies: “In a second I’m going to turn him over. I still have head control, but my legs and my arm… look. Ready?”

Once he turns the snake over and lies on its back, he is able to free himself, but not before admitting that his blue belt was nothing compared to the python and his “black belt in the jungle”.

The real Tarzann, after escaping and avoiding being crushed to death, also admitted while trying to catch his breath that he was as close as he “had been in a long time to being enveloped.”

This is not my idea of a good time. But it’s a way to get off the couch and spend an afternoon if you’re looking for adventure.

I’d like to know what the plan was here if he wasn’t able to turn the snake around and started losing the fight even more. Did the cameraman intervene?

Were there others, making the whole fight against a huge snake in the jungle completely pointless? Was anyone armed?

Cool social media video, I guess.
