Donald Trump delivered a scathing rebuke to Barack Obama after the former president attacked him during a midterm campaign rally.
Trump, 80, launched a tirade on social truth at 12:42 a.m. Sunday, calling Barack Obama a “grossly incompetent president” who gave Iran “the path to nuclear weapons.”
“He said crooked Hillary Clinton was going to WIN, he campaigned hard for her, and she lost in every way and every way. He then campaigned hard for Kamala, and likewise, she lost,” Trump wrote in a Truth Social article.

Trump then took aim at Obama for campaigning for Abdul El-Sayed, the Democratic Senate candidate in Michigan, calling him a “Muslim Brotherhood jihadist, who hates Jews, black people, AMERICANS and TRUMP, and he’s going to lose too.”
Trump continued: “He is a fake doctor, running what is considered the WORST CLINIC IN AMERICA. »

El-Sayed’s criticism of the Israeli government alienated some Jewish voters in Michigan, and he also struggled to win the support of the state’s black voters.
“Michigan doesn’t want an arrogant, open-border fake doctor and jihadist whose reputation will only get worse as more information comes to light — and there’s a lot of it,” Trump said, before urging Michiganders to support his Senate pick, Mike Rogers. Polls show Rogers in a tight race with the progressive doctor.
The president’s speech comes after Obama, 65, portrayed him as an agent of “chaos and cruelty” at his first midterm campaign rally, in Cleveland, Ohio, in his most scathing attack on Trump in recent years.

“Remember that old story about “draining the swamp”? » Obama asked the crowd. “The only thing that was gutted was the National Mall reflecting pool after a no-bid contract ruined everything.”
The former president made the remarks Saturday at a rally in support of Democratic gubernatorial candidate Amy Acton, a former health director who was the target of a vicious MAGA attack ad, and former Sen. Sherrod Brown, who is trying to unseat Ohio GOP incumbent, former college football player and object of Trump’s affection, Jon Husted.
Obama has stepped up his criticism of Trump in the run-up to the midterm elections, where Republicans face the prospect of significant losses in the House of Representatives and are deadlocked in the battle to retain control of the Senate. Hours after his speech in Cleveland, Obama denounced the “madness” of the Trump administration, according to the New York Times.
