If you love sports, October 26, 2026 will be hard to beat.
Five North American professional leagues are in action at the same time Monday night, a phenomenon known as the sporting equinox.
Major League Baseball and the NFL will compete for the most viewers, while the NBA, WNBA and NHL will give their die-hard fans games to watch.
Monday marks the 33rd sporting equinox, the first since October 27, 2025 and the fourth with women’s professional basketball included, according to Sportradar.
Here is a guide to try to taste a little of this and that in the sports assortment:

The Brewers won the first two games by one run, taking a 2-0 lead in the best-of-7 series.
Even though the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys are both 2-4, there is still plenty of interest in the NFL and millions of people will be watching the NFC East game when it kicks off at 8:15 p.m. on ESPN.

The WNBA is battling the MLB, NFL, NBA and NHL for the first time since 2000, when the league did so three times in September of that year.
