Alongside the 20-core variant, the Windows Central report claims that Microsoft will launch a Surface Laptop with NVIDIA’s 18-core RTX Spark. It is also claimed that the 18-core SKU will start with 24 GB of unified memory, while the 24-core version will start with 32 GB of memory. There would be a performance demo showing how the new Arm SoC delivers the same level of battery life performance as when plugged into the wall.

The 15-inch laptops will both feature the same PixelSense Ultra touchscreen with 2,000 nits peak HDR brightness and high color accuracy, and both devices will have haptic touchpads that are 30% larger than those on the 15-inch Surface Laptop. It has also been confirmed that there will be three USB Type-C ports, a Type-A port, an HDMI port and a full-size SD card reader in the new Surface Laptop Ultras, although there are no complaints about USB speeds or versions.
