Voters in four states this week approved or strengthened limits on transgender athletes’ participation in women’s sports, a rare victory for conservatives during a historic blue wave midterms.
More than two dozen Republican-led states have already passed bans on transgender girls and women from competing on girls’ teams. Now two blue states, Colorado and Washington, are joining their ranks, and Arizona and Nebraska have strengthened their bans.
