A truck demanding EA “Save Mass Effect” is currently driving around the company’s headquarters

The #SaveMassEffect movement I crowdfunded last month to pay for billboards outside EA offices and for December’s Game Awards, advocating for the continuation of BioWare’s sci-fi RPG series after the studio shuts down on October 21. Times Squareand another is online today, as a mobile display truck is currently driving around the publisher’s headquarters in Redwood City.

The truck was commissioned by “We Are Mass effect” Organizers Ariel Aguilar and Mer alongside content creator Kala Elizabeth, and will tour the property for four hours until 1 p.m. Pacific Time. Mer reports Kotaku that the driver will circle the HQ as close as possible without intrusion. The group asked anyone in the area to send photos, while also warning against entering EA property.

Fans of BioWare and Mass effect The series has been particularly hectic in recent days, as N7 Day, which was once BioWare’s annual celebration of the series, will take place tomorrow, November 7. As the day approached, it became clear that BioWare had multiple licensing agreements in place for new merchandise before it closed, and would have likely released a new teaser for the now-canceled Mass Effect: Universe.

Earlier this week, Canadian fans signed an electronic petition asking the House of Commons to explore the possibility of funding BioWare developers, allowing them to purchase the studio and its intellectual property from EA, although such a deal would require the publisher’s cooperation.
