We are less than a month away from the release of Grand Theft Auto 6 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. When pre-orders first went live, we found that more people were purchasing the Ultimate Edition than the Standard Edition. This makes sense, as early pre-orders would primarily be from the biggest fans, who would be most likely to splurge on the Ultimate Edition. This is not the first time that this type of offer appears while GTA 6 is available for pre-order. About every week or two, Newegg offers similar discounts on PlayStation Store and Xbox Store gift cards. You still have to enter a promo code and the deals still only last for one day. So if you miss out this time, you’ll probably get another shot or two before the official GTA 6 release date.
If you pre-order Grand Theft Auto 6, you will be able to pre-load the game on your PS5 or Xbox Series X|S starting November 12. That’s a week before the game’s release. Then, once launch day arrives, you’ll already have the game on your console and be ready to play when start time arrives.
As a reminder: at launch, you will only have access to the GTA 6 campaign. Rockstar hasn’t announced when GTA Online will be available, so keep it locked to IGN for more information on that.
