Julian Sayin was injured in the fourth quarter of Ohio State’s game against Indiana.
Ohio State’s starting quarterback suffered an apparent shoulder/elbow injury after taking a big hit during a blitz and returned to the locker room. By Eleven warriors Photographer Josh Winslow, Sayin’s arm hung at his side as he left the field.

In his post-match press conference, Ryan Day said Sayin would “probably be out for several weeks.”
“I don’t have a lot of details, but he’ll probably be out for several weeks, so we’ll have to come up with a plan,” Day said.
Before leaving the game, Sayin completed 15 of 29 pass attempts for 235 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions. Fahey did not complete either of his two pass attempts after entering the game, but Day and others expressed confidence in Fahey as the new starting quarterback during Ohio State’s postgame press conference.
“He’s got some attitude as a quarterback,” left guard Luke Montgomery said. “When you have courage in you, you just have the confidence in yourself to go out there and play like him, it doesn’t surprise me where he’s at. He’s going to be a heck of a player.”
