Mossimo Giannulli has filed his response to Lori Loughlin’s divorce petition after 28 years of marriage, Page Six can exclusively reveal.
Giannulli, 63, filed documents in Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday confirming that he, too, wants to dissolve his marriage for the same reason as Loughlin, 62, — “irreconcilable differences.”
When the actress submitted her petition early last month, she requested that properties, assets and debts be divided according to the former couple’s prenuptial agreement, which they signed a month before their wedding in November 1997 and amended in August 2015.
She also requested that spousal support be determined at a later date and that each party be responsible for their own attorney fees and costs.
Interestingly, Giannulli did not mention a prenup in his filing and instead asked the court to “determine whether spousal support will be payable to either party at the request of either party” and “whether one party should contribute to the costs of the other party.”
Notably, the fashion designer left the “separation date” field blank, while his ex-wife indicated August 31, 2025.
Last October, Page Six confirmed that the couple had separated, with a rep for Loughlin sharing at the time: “Lori and Mossimo are living apart now. There are no legal proceedings pending.”
Later that month, a source close to the “Full House” star told Us exclusively that she wanted “nothing to do with” her longtime partner, adding, “Mossimo used Lori for years. Maybe she hoped he would change when he got out of prison, but his condition got worse.”
Our source added that Loughlin’s “tipping point” was reportedly the discovery of “incriminating” text messages and emails on her then-husband’s phone.
The pal went on to claim that the exes’ daughters – Isabella Rose Giannulli, 27, and Olivia Jade Giannulli, 26 – were “totally” in their mother’s corner.
Around the same time, a source told Us Weekly, “People around Lori and Mossimo know they went through a really tough time last year. It’s not a shock to the people around them. It’s been a tough time for Lori. She’s devastated.”
The source claimed the Hallmark Channel personality initiated the split because she “thought a breakup might help” their marriage, but they just weren’t “on the same page anymore.”
Loughlin and Mossimo made headlines in 2019 for their involvement in a national college admissions scandal.
The following May, they pleaded guilty to paying $500,000 to a fixer to get their daughters accepted into the University of Southern California as crew recruits — even though they were not rowers.
Loughlin ended up serving two months in federal prison and was released in December 2020, while the Mossimo founder completed his five-month federal prison sentence the following April.
The duo’s marriage was said to have “never been the same.”
“The school scandal was a turning point, and they never really connected or got their relationship back together afterward,” a source told Us Weekly last January, adding that Loughlin felt like Mossimo “implicated her” in the situation.
“She didn’t blame him entirely, but he was the spearhead,” the source claimed, noting that Loughlin “never completely forgave her and never fully got over it.”
The source also said that Isabella and Olivia have been going through a “rough” time since their parents split.
Since the split was revealed, Mossimo has been spotted on several occasions with much younger stylist Hannah Harrison.
Although Loughlin was photographed kissing actor James Tupper a day before the news broke, her rep told us at the time that the two had worked together in the past and were just good friends.
