Tom Homan warns Democrats ‘will push to abolish ICE’ if they win midterm elections
Trump’s border czar Tom Homan joins the program to analyze border security issues, amid reports from Texas that voters are demanding tougher immigration enforcement. The discussion touches on deportation policies and growing safety fears in the wake of deadly tragedies, as well as reports of a federal investigation into Minnesota Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar’s citizenship.

As Democratic leaders in the House of Representatives prepare to take the reins of power in Congress, they are also prepared to reckon with far-left rebels who could make their lives difficult over the next two years.
Democrats are expected to regain the majority in the House after Tuesday night’s midterm elections.
This comes after a far-left insurrection disrupted Democratic primary elections, and some of those socialist candidates are now expected to head to the Capitol next year.

Darializa Avila Chevalier, New York
Darializa Avila Chevalier is expected to be the next representative to the House of Representatives from New York’s 13th Congressional District, which covers Upper Manhattan and parts of the Bronx.
Chevalier’s victory comes after she scored a surprise victory over the chairman of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, Rep. Adriano Espaillat, D-N.Y., amid an anti-incumbency wave that has swept the Empire State’s elections.
Born in Florida to immigrant parents from the Dominican Republic, she moved to New York to attend Columbia University to obtain her undergraduate degree.
Chevalier has previously faced criticism from future Republican colleagues for her past comments, including a now-deleted post on
She notably declined the support of Democratic leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., to be the next House speaker, telling Vanity Fair that she would need certain “commitments” on progressive issues like Medicare for All.

Claire Valdez, New York
Claire Valdez is another member of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) who scored a surprise victory in the New York primary, defeating a Democrat backed by incumbent Rep. Nydia Velázquez, D-N.Y., for the party nomination.

Valdez is now expected to take Velázquez’s seat in New York’s 7th Congressional District, which includes parts of Brooklyn and Queens.
Valdez is currently a member of the New York State Assembly. On her campaign website, she describes herself as a “dual citizen of the Ysleta del Sur Pueblo Nation and the United States.”
She also did not confirm whether she would support Jeffries for president, telling New York Magazine that she would not “negotiate in public” but would “see how the midterm elections play out.”
CARVILLE WARNS DEMOCRATS MAY HAVE TO PREVENT FAR-LEFT CANDIDATES FROM JOINING CAUCUS, MODERATE GROUP DISAGREES

Donavan McKinney, Michigan
Donavan McKinney, in Michigan’s 13th Congressional District, is another beneficiary of the anti-incumbency backlash in the 2026 election cycle. He is now expected to come to Congress after defeating Rep. Shri Thanedar, Democrat of Michigan, in the primary.
McKinney is a member of the DSA and has been endorsed by other prominent socialists like Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich.
The district he is preparing to represent includes part of Detroit and its suburbs.
He recently told Jacobin Magazine that his top policy goals include Medicare for All, universal child care and taking corporate money back in elections.
Also in the interview, he accused his primary opponent of taking his campaign money from Immigration and Customs Enforcement contractors, the pro-Israel lobby and other business interests.
Israel had been the defining issue of his primary campaign. Thanedar was a former member of the DSA who left the organization following celebrations by its members following the October 7 Hamas terrorist attack.
DSA-SUPPORTED CANDIDATES WIN PRIMARIES AND THEIR VISION OF AMERICA IS VERY DIFFERENT
Melat Kiros, Colorado
Melat Kiros is a DSA member and former attorney whose surprise victory in Colorado’s 1st Congressional District ends the longtime political career of Rep. Diana DeGette.
Colorado Democrat DeGette, a progressive who has served in Congress since 1997, lost her Denver-area seat in a shocking primary defeat to Kiros, a 29-year-old political newcomer.
Kiros was born in Ethiopia “just weeks before her father was selected by the U.S. Diversity Visa Lottery,” according to her campaign website.
She has sparked controversy for her fierce anti-Israel stance, including calling the October 7 terrorist attack by Hamas an “inevitable” result of the Jewish country’s own actions, according to several reports. She also opposed its existence as a Jewish state.
Kiros is also among those who will not commit to supporting Jeffries as speaker.

Chris Rabb, Pennsylvania
Pennsylvania state lawmaker Chris Rabb is preparing to enter the House of Representatives to represent the state’s 3rd Congressional District next year.
The democratic socialist called on the United States to “immediately dismantle the military-industrial complex, cease all imperialist foreign policies, and end all U.S.-led regime change efforts,” according to his campaign website.
Rabb also called for a universal basic income for Americans as well as guaranteed housing, high-speed internet, free public transportation and “national grocery stores.”
He previously took aim at establishment Democrats in an interview with CBS’s “Face the Nation” in August, saying, “I think listening to people who have been institutionalists and business Democrats is probably the wrong thing to do when what your own polling shows is there’s a burnout.”
Brad Lander, New York
Former New York City Comptroller Brad Lander is no longer a member of the DSA, having left the organization over its response to Hamas’ attack on Israel on October 7.
But his campaign was supported by some of the DSA’s biggest stars, including New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani.
Lander’s campaign for New York’s 10th Congressional District, which includes downtown Manhattan and parts of Brooklyn, served as a proxy battle between the Empire State establishment left and socialist factions.
While Lander was supported by Mamdani, his primary opponent, Rep. Dan Goldman, D-N.Y., was supported by Jeffries. Lander also campaigned alongside Chevalier and Valdez.
Although he left the DSA over Israel, Lander remains a staunch critic of the Jewish state. He was recently arrested by Israeli law enforcement while traveling to the occupied West Bank to join Palestinian olive farmers who were harvesting their crops. Israeli authorities released him after learning his identity.

However, unlike his far-left New York colleagues, Lander said he was inclined to support Jeffries for president.
